Light and Shadow

Engraving project (2004-2007)

Daily Pages of Illustrated Mournings is an autobiographic project created during a mourning period. This was a moment of aesthetics exploration while questioning my own concepts of life. This series happened during 2 years and have more then 60 art pieces. During this moment I only felt comfortable drawing with pens and china ink. Also the colors where chosen by its contrast and emotional connections.

About this series

  • All the names of this artworks are number.
  • Colored pen and china ink over pólen paper.
